Learn cybersecurity work side by side with practitioners.
The Valtrenix internship program is for students and early-career learners who want practical exposure to cybersecurity, risk, compliance and security automation.
A first look at how security work gets done.
Valtrenix is a cybersecurity consulting, auditing and automation company. The internship program is designed to give learners a realistic view of that work, with guidance from people who do it every day.
The aim is practical: understand how engagements are scoped, how findings are documented and how recommendations are explained to clients.
Skills that carry across security roles
How risk work is structured
Scoping an assessment, recording risks and explaining ratings in plain language.
Controls and frameworks
Reading control requirements and mapping them to evidence, including frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001.
Findings and remediation
Reading technical findings, grouping them and describing practical next steps.
Privacy and data protection
How privacy requirements shape everyday business processes.
Clear security writing
Turning technical detail into short, accurate reports for non-technical readers.
Automation and AI with oversight
Using automation and AI-assisted tools carefully, with human review of the output.
Where interns may contribute
Placement depends on current needs and your interests. These follow the four Valtrenix pillars.
Strategy, program design and maturity work.
Security and compliance audits, and audit readiness.
Security and compliance automation, and AI advisory.
Assessments, testing and incident readiness.
